Testimonials

I would like to share how thankful I am for the behaviour counselling support Donna provided for my son, as well as for me through the sessions we attended together. From the beginning, Donna created a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where we both felt comfortable.

Her approach to behaviour counselling was thoughtful and practical, helping my son develop better ways to manage his emotions and responses while also giving me the tools and confidence to support him more effectively at home.

Donna’s patience, understanding, and professionalism really stood out, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about helping us make progress. I would highly recommend.

A parent's testimonial

Donna is an exceptional counsellor. She provided me with a safe therapeutic space in which I was able to grow and develop. Her approach was consistently understanding and validating, and I learned so much from her diverse skill set. She was, and continues to be, genuinely invested in my wellbeing and personal growth. This support enabled me to thrive and flourish, building my confidence and helping me to feel more able to cope. This has been especially meaningful as a neurodivergent person who has previously found therapy difficult or not fully inclusive of my needs. Donna is a genuinely warm and authentic person who makes you feel truly heard.

Adult Client

As Headteacher of Victoria Lane Academy, I have had the privilege of witnessing the incredible impact that Donna has on our children’s well-being. Her dedication, empathy, and expertise in supporting pupils through emotional and social challenges have been truly transformative.

Donna creates a safe and nurturing space where children feel heard, valued, and empowered to develop resilience and confidence. Her ability to connect with young minds, provide tailored support, and collaborate effectively with staff and parents’ makes her an invaluable asset to our school community.

I wholeheartedly recommend Donna to any school seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who makes a real difference in children’s lives.

My son first started working with Donna in 2022 6 months after he lost his dad. We were very fortunate as she worked at his primary school part time and the school recognised, he needed additional support so planned 1:1 session with Donna. She has built such a strong trust ting relationship with him and through activities, crafts and play has been able to give him emotional support and skills to help him navigate through lots of big and scary emotions.

The work what Donna has done with my little boy has been life changing, not just for him but for me. I would really hate to imagine the situation we would be in now without her support.

There was a time when I felt like mine and his relationship had completely broken down- probably due to the trauma we had both experienced however Donna started doing sessions with both him and me. This really improved our relationship, and I felt like I got my loving little boy back.

My son has a diagnosis of ADHD, Donna supported myself and my son to learn about ADHD and develop skills to manage it. Her work with him has been amazing and I'm sure it's been appreciated by the school also.

I have also spent time with Donna both 1:1 session with her So, sessions alongside my son, I feel I am a better parent for working with her and the time I have spent with her I have learned so much about his Individual needs and sensory needs and also my own!! So for all the above and for so much more I am forever grateful that me and my son have been so fortunate to have Donna in our lives !!

I am a SENDCo at a mainstream primary school which has significant need. Donna has been a blessing and a godsend to us in so many ways; her experience and knowledge of SEN is second to none! She always has the children at the heart of what she does and has had such an impact on our children’s well-being and education we honestly cannot thank her enough for her expert skills and support to help us move forward being inclusive for all.
